2012 Toyota Tundra Stuck In Park

Hello all I am new to this forum and hope to find some help on an issue I had this morning.

2012 toyota tundra stuck in park. My truck has a column shifter. My 2011 Toyota Tundra has a stuck key. Parking sensor issue for 2016 Toyota Tundra 1794.

The shift lock override slot is the main component that controls the locking and unlock. And with out doing a thing it worked. I pressed the manual release under the little cover with the same results.

So I am continuing to get stuck in park with my 94 4runner. Toyota has released a Technical Service Bulletin for an odd situation where you might have a problem removing your key after putting your truck in park and turning off the engineThe problem is limited to 2010-2012 Tundra models with a column shift automatic. It is an intermittent issue sometimes it will go away for a few days only to return for a few days.

My 07 57 6 speed Tundra is stuck in park. Like all automatic vehicles though it can still fall victim to a small failure which will cause the transmission to become locked in park. That can cause bigger problems.
